God bless you Brothers and Sisters.  I am the current Pastor here at the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church in Bay City, Texas.  My late mother (Janie Robles) was the Founder and Pastor before me.  I was born in Houston, Texas and relocated to Bay City with my late husband and 2 small children to help build this church with my parents over 43 years ago.  When my Mother was called to be with our Lord and Savior, God appointed me to continue in his work.  Praise be to God and his will be done!  At the beginning of 2023, God gave me a new title for the church, "A New Beginning".

I believe with all my heart that God is doing something amazing in our church. I invite y'all to come join us, visit with us, and see for yourself the good things God is doing.

My favorite Bible verse is John 3:16.  "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life".  I look forward to seeing you.

God Bless

Co-Pastor Jessie Deleza Image Co-Pastor - Jessie Deleza

I am the Co-Pastor of the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal in Bay City, Texas.  I have been a member of the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church since the beginning of its start.  Throughout these years, I have seen God do miracles in my life, my families lives, and in the lives of the congregation of the church.  God is an awesome God and never seizes to amaze me with his infinite love and care for those who seek him.  With the help of the Lord and my church village, I raised my 5 children at the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church.  They are all grown adults now and I am happy and proud to say, all serving God in their own ministries.

I often say I don't have a favorite bible verse or bible story.  It always just depends on what is going on at the moment.  Every time I read a story, it's my favorite until I read the next story.  I love the stories about the kings, prophets, and the book of Daniel.  In the new testament, nothing compares to the miracles of Jesus!  Imagine, calling Lazarus by name and he hops out of the tomb where he had been dead for 4 days, wrapping in his burial clothes or a blind man who sees for the first time in his life!  A scripture I will often quote is 1 Corinthians 10:31, Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all for the glory of God.  Maybe this is my favorite verse since it is the one I quote most often, or maybe Psalm 23.  I better just stop. Enjoy our website.  If you are in the Bay City area, come visit us at church and may God have all the glory!

Associate Pastor Joy Robles-Limones Image Associate Pastor - Joy Robles-Limones

Hello, I am Joy Robles-Limones, the daughter of the late Joe and Janie Robles.  My mother, was pastor of the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church for over 40 years.  I have been part of the church since I was an infant.  I am married to Trini Limones who supports me 100% in my ministry and also serves in the church as President of the Men's Department.  Along with being the Associate Pastor, I am also the Praise & Worship Leader, and Ordained Minister .  I started preaching in 2018, helping my mother as she was getting older and not always in the best of health.  After she passed away, I took her place and preach the word twice a week, every 3 weeks.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer on my tongue,  After months of chemo and radiation, my mouth, neck, and throat were severely burned.  I was in severe pain unable to speak.  I had to use a white board to communicate.  The doctor gave me the devastating news that I would never sing again.  As I began to recover from the treatments, I began to speak and little by little sing.  Because of the healing power of God, my voice is back 100% and I continue to sing for the Lord and preach the word of God with everything I have.

My favorite scripture is Psalm 100, which says "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.  Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.  For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."
